Thankful Thursday Benefits Greater Cape May Historical Society

Thankful Thursday at Cold Spring Brewery on Oct. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. will benefit the Greater Cape May Historical Society. Celebrate by raising a glass to those who collect, preserve, document, interpret and share the history of the greater Cape May area. The Greater Cape May Historical Society has a public private partnership with the City of Cape May for the support and operation of the Colonial House Museum. The Society will maintain the Colonial House along with its collection of paper documents and in doing so, provide a museum open to the public without bias and free of charge. The Greater Cape May Historical Society The museum is open June 15 to Sept. 15 Wednesday through Saturday (closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) 1 to 4 p.m. and during Victorian Weekend in October. The museum is also open by appointment. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Greater Cape May Historical Society.
Cold Spring Brewery is located on Route 626, 733 Seashore Rd., three miles north of Victorian Cape May and a mile and a half west of the southern terminus of the Garden State Parkway.
Historic Cold Spring Village is a nonprofit, open-air living history museum that portrays the daily life of a rural South Jersey community of the Early American period. It features 27 restored historic structures on a 30-acre site. Admission during the season is $12 for adults and $10 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under 3 are admitted free. Unlimited free admission is available with Village membership.
