Taco Bell in Rio Grande Celebrated Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The public, press and local officials attended the grand opening ribbon cutting celebration of Taco Bell on Tuesday, July 11 at 9 a.m. The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Middle Township Mayor Michael Clark and Middle Township Economic Development Council hosted a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome the new business to Cape May County. After the ribbon was cut, guests enjoyed a sampling of tasty items like breakfast burritos, tacos, Cinnabon delights, coffee and more.
Cape May County Freeholders Jeffery Pierson, Gerald Thornton and Will Morey presented a proclamation to Taco Bell in recognition of this great addition to Cape May County. In addition, New Jersey Assemblymen Bruce Land, Middle Township Mayor Michael Clark and Nancy Sittineri, Middle Township Economic Development Council welcomed Taco Bell to Middle Township and wished them many years of success. Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Board President Lisa Rendzak started the ceremony by welcoming Taco Bell to the area and presenting the official GWCOC Member plaque. John Marsella, COO of Summerwood Corporation, presented a $500 donation each to the Middle Township Police Department and the Rio Grande Fire Company to use toward community and educational programs.
