COURT HOUSE — Christopher L. Hayes has been named Sturdy Savings Bank’s Employee of the Quarter. Hayes, an assistant vice president, is Dennisville branch manager.
He began his banking career in 1985, and served in both lending and retail fields before joining Sturdy in 2002, according to a release.
“Hayes provides exceptional customer service and is a key member of the Sturdy Team,” said Gerald L. Reeves, Sturdy president and CEO.
Hayes is active in the community and currently serves as treasurer of the Greater Woodbine Chamber of Commerce and as a director and Scholarship Committee chairman for the Dennis Township Chamber of Commerce.
The Cape May County native is also a lay leader in his church. He enjoys biking, camping and other outdoor activities.
Hayes was nominated for the Employee of the Quarter award by coworkers, who stated: “Chris’ commitment is inspiring and he makes you feel proud to be a part of Sturdy’s Dennisville team.”
