Sturdy Savings Bank Donates to Food Pantries to Help Feed Area Families During Pandemic

Sturdy Savings Bank recently presented 25 food banks and pantries in Cape May County and Somers Point with checks to help them meet increased demand during the COVID-19 crisis.
In addition to the established food pantries in the area that the bank has always supported annually, many others have been formed during the pandemic to further assist in feeding families in need.
“Demand is great in times of crisis, and it is our hope that our donations to each of these pantries will help families in the communities we serve,” said Sturdy Savings Bank President Jerry Reeves.
Food banks receiving donations to assist in their emergency work related to COVID-19 relief include:
