Richard Michner, M.D. Welcomed to Cape Regional Health System Board of Trustees

COURT HOUSE – Henry Brzyski, Chairman of the Cape Regional Health System, has announced the appointment of Richard Michner, M.D. to the Cape Regional Health System Board of Trustees. “We are happy to welcome Dr. Michner back to the Cape Regional Health System Board of Trustees,” stated Brzyski. “During his tenure as President of the Medical Staff, he served for four years. His clinical knowledge and professional experience is a tremendous asset to the Board and the Health System.”
Dr. Michner has been a member of the Medical Staff at Cape Regional Medical Center since 1984 and is in private practice in Cape May Court House. He graduated from medical school in 1976 and performed his internship at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, New Jersey. His residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was served at Roosevelt Hospital, New York, New York. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Michner serves as the Co-Medical Director of the Prenatal Clinic at Complete Care Health Center and is a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey.
Cape Regional Medical Center is an affiliate of Penn Medicine for Cancer Care and Cardiac Care. It is accredited by and received the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission who also awarded it Disease Specific Care Certification in Wound Care and Inpatient Diabetes Care. The Society for Chest Pain Centers recognizes the Medical Center as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The 242-bed Medical Center is located in the heart of Cape May County.
