Reef Family Pharmacy is officially opening its new location with a Grand Opening celebration on Friday, October 25, 2019, beginning with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. The new location at 1037 Route 9 in Cape May Court House is just a half a mile from their original address.
The Grand Opening celebration will feature local product vendors throughout the day, including ice cream and pretzels from locally owned “The Pretzel Shop” and live entertainment from local radio stations. The public is invited to stop by the Grand Opening event and explore all the new features inside Reef Family Pharmacy.
At 3,000 square feet, the new store offers an additional 1,100 square feet, as well as double the parking at 16 versus the original eight spots. In addition, because of its corner location, the new site offers easy access and an improved traffic flow on and off of Route 9.
“Importantly, the new location is the only pharmacy in Cape May Court House with a drive-through,” noted Scott Reef, Owner. “Plus, the expanded space allows us to offer products and services that we simply couldn’t in our former location.”
The new store features a home healthcare section with wheelchairs, shower chairs, walkers and more. There is a brand new counseling room where patients may consult with the pharmacists. The Reefs also are paying homage to local vendors with a “local flavor” section, featuring such items as Cape May Sea Salt, Busy Bees Honey, homemade dog biscuits, soaps, candles, CBD oils and creams, and more.
“We are a community business, and this helps us celebrate other local businesses that are part of our community,” said Scott.
While the new store will be bigger, customers can count on the same personal touch for which Reef Family Pharmacy is known. “That’s our hallmark,” Scott noted. “When you stop by the store, you’re part of the family. Our new location will allow us to bring more customers into our family, and we look forward to it.”
