LINWOOD — The Rothman Institute, the region’s largest orthopaedic practice, announced
Dr. Ravi K. Ponnappan, orthopaedic spine surgeon at the Institute, was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) during ceremonies at the Academy’s 2011 annual meeting in San Diego, Calif.
“Dr. Ponnappan is truly deserving of this notable honor,” states Mike West, CEO of the Rothman Institute. “We are thrilled to have a doctor with such passion for his profession as a part of our team.”
Ponnappan is a board certified orthopaedic spine surgeon. He completed his medical training at Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH, his surgical training at Rush University in Chicago, IL and fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh.
A native of Kettering, OH, Ponnappan currently resides in Linwood, and sees patients out of the Rothman Institute’s Egg Harbor Township and Manahawkin locations.
