CLERMONT — Attention county residents and property owners. One of the area’s premier golf clubs wants to thank you.
The Pines at Clermont, located at 358 Kings Highway, has planned a Cape May County Appreciation Day with free golf on May 17.
Vince Orlando, a partner in the golf club, told the Herald that management wanted to thank locals who have played the course over the years and bring some new golfers out to see recent upgrades they’ve made.
Orlando, a local engineer and landscape architect, designed the nine-hole, 2,085-yard The Pines to be challenging for low-scoring golfers, but also accessible for young players and those just learning the game. The course has four par-four holes and five par-three holes that require players to use every club in their bags.
On May 17, besides the free golf, players will also have an opportunity to win a car with a hole-in-one sponsored by Kindle Auto Plaza. There will also be other giveaways including a one-year golf membership at The Pines. Also on the menu that day will be free food provided by the Bellevue Tavern and Guiseppe’s Gourmet.
