Patti’s Party World, Cape May County’s one-stop shop for all and any special occasion, proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary year. Patti Arena opened this family owned and operated store in 1994 and has since seen the store’s space and inventory expand.
In 2001, Patti’s son Jason Arena came on board full-time to assist his mother with the business and is now poised to take charge when Patti retires. Patti also acknowledges twenty-year employee and friend, Rae Hunt, for her loyalty and assistance.
At an impressive 5,000 square feet, Patti’s Party World features a section for just about every occasion you can imagine and a costume to suit any theme. In fact, Patti’s carries both children’s and adult’s costumes and accessories year-round and each is organized by its appropriate era or theme. Those who would like for Spongebob, Buzz Lightyear, Mickey, or even Minnie to make an appearance at their child’s party are in luck. Patti’s rents these plus many more character costumes.
Patti’s is home to a renowned bakery section featuring cake toppers, candy making supplies by Merckens Chocolate, pans, and more. The store’s aisle of tableware is well known for its vast array of color, size, and quality options. Plus, Patti’s specializes in supplying tableware in bulk and can accommodate the needs of large parties. They also stock a fun selection of martini, champagne, and cocktail glasses.
From ages 1 to 100, Patti’s has a section of decorations, sashes, and even crowns for every big birthday milestone. The international aisle celebrates American, Irish, Chinese, Italian, and Mexican pride with its festive options. Finally, the bridal, baby shower, and christening sections provide future and new families with everything they need to celebrate these special occasions with loved ones.
Last but certainly not least, Patti’s specializes in custom balloon designs, decorations, and custom invitations. Life-size balloon characters, large archways, and custom centerpieces are just a few of the many designs the Patti’s team is capable of creating for your special day. The store also rents tents, gazebos, wicker chairs, and coastal-themed arches
for backyard parties, baby showers, and beachfront weddings.
Patti’s Party World is now open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This helpful staff would like to thank its loyal patrons for 20 great years.
