North End Thrift Hosts Customer Appreciation Day

North End Thrift is proud to celebrate its 4th anniversary as a member of the Lower Township business community. “Lower Township is a blossoming community that is home for year-round and vacationing residents. Its beautiful million dollar bay front homes and spectacular sunsets are complimented by a bustling business district along Bayshore Road with great restaurants, clubs and shopping,” states North End Thrift owner, Pete Wilson. “I’m so grateful to be a part of the Township’s evolution and to have seen how my home Township has changed these past four years. A big thank you to Lower Township’s Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Beck, Manager Voll and the City Council,” he added.
A successful and thriving business in its own right, North End Thrift works tirelessly for the community and in conjunction with local charities and civic organizations. One of Pete Wilson’s goals in establishing the business was to assist residents with often emotional and trying sales or trades of cherished possessions. Today, North End services reach as far as Northfield and Linwood. All the while, Pete Wilson and his alter ego, NJ Thrift Man, have maintained the mission to “Reuse, Re-purpose, Re-love” all forgotten treasures.
In his tireless search for such treasures, Pete stocks North End Thrift with just about everything imaginable. Customer LaNetta Hammill of Court House can attest to the variety. “My entire house is a reflection of the best that North End Thrift has to offer. I was able to rehab both the inside and outside at less than half the price it would have cost if I bought my treasures somewhere else. Peter gives great prices, and his staff offers suggestions on how to spruce things up,” she states.
Since its recent expansion to a total of 7,000 square feet, North End Thrift features a highly popular antique showroom for the most valuable, rare and vintage finds. Specializing in estate sales and clean-outs, North End Thrift will arrive at clients’ homes at their convenience, with trucks and a professional staff to sort through unwanted items and clear them from the premises. Pete actually got into the business after his grandmother passed away and he inherited her possessions. So he understands how difficult the clean-out process can be.
Pete Wilson and his entire North End staff invite all their customers to join them for a day of celebration on May 17 for the store’s Customer Appreciation Day. It’s their way of thanking the countless loyal patrons for their continued business, and they will do so with snacks, refreshments, door prizes, t-shirts as well as free appraisals. The party starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. Come join the fun! The Coast, 98.7 FM, will be there from noon to 2 p.m.
This family owned and operated business works with and for the community in order to further the re-purposing cause and provide quality services at the fairest prices.
