No Shave November Donation

The Cape May County Sheriff Officers and Correctional Officers presented a check in the amount of $6,149.00 to the Rylee Crowley Fund of the Ocean City Policemen Benevolent Association Local #61.
“Officers from both division participated in “No Shave November” with the objective of raising money for this cause. Officers were permitted to grow facial hair for the one month and each officer was required to raise at least $50.00. Our officers did an outstanding job and I am extremely proud of what they accomplished,” said Sheriff Gary Schaffer.
Rylee Crowley is suffer from a rare form of child leukemia and has required continual care. Rylee Crowley is the daughter of Ocean City Police Officer Matthew Crowley and niece of Cape May County Correctional Officer Matthew Crowley.
“This unfortunate situation has been a strain on the Crowley Family both emotionally and financially. Money can still be contributed through the Ocean City Policemen Benevolent Association Local # 61. Any donations would gratefully be appreciated,” said Sheriff Schaffer.
Information on how to contribute to the Rylee Crowley Fund can be obtained by calling Det. Robert Koob of the Ocean City Police Department at 399-9111.
