WILDWOOD — Crowds of firefighters, emergency vehicles and vendors converged on the city for the annual state Firefighters’ Convention.
In addition to a fire expo, blood drive, equipment displays and weekend craft show, a parade will be held Sept. 15 at 1 p.m. on New Jersey Avenue from Crocus Road in Wildwood Crest north to 9th Avenue in North Wildwood.
According to the groups Web site, there are 78,000 firefighters in New Jersey who are members of the New Jersey State Firemen’s Association.
