Menz Restaurant to be Featured in Major Motion Picture

Menz

By

On Thursday, April 28, Menz Restaurant in Rio Grande transformed into a movie scene as trucks, equipment and crews took over the restaurant to film the new major motion picture, ‘Wetlands.’
The independent film will star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Heather Graham and Christopher McDonald. The film is a family/police drama with hints of mystery.
We had the opportunity to speak with Fred Cliver of the locationist department, the department that scouts out locations for the movie. Although he couldn’t share with us exactly what was being filmed that day, he did tell us that the scene filmed at Menz is going to be a vital one.
“We’ve filmed all over Cape May County, and even a little in Atlantic County. We really want to capture that ‘shore’ feel,” said Cliver.
The release date of the movie is TBD, but expected for some time in 2017.
