Local Gymnastics Team Wins Big at USAIGC Gymnastics Meet

Art of Gymnastics & Cheer’s competitive equipment gymnastics team recently participated in the Winter Fest Invitational meet in Atlantic County, sanctioned and governed by the United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs (USAIGC). AOGAC was the highest scoring team of seven different divisions. AOGAC also had the highest scoring individual apparatus out of every single competitor in all age divisions and all levels from 10-year-old Destiny E. on the uneven parallel bars with a 9.65.
Below are the results from the meet:
Copper I, Ages 7-9
Vaulting – 1st place, Addison T.
Floor Exercise – 1st place, Addison T.
(Congratulations to Addison for winning two first place spots in her very first gymnastics meet!)
Copper II, Ages 7-9
All Around Champion – 1st place, Haylie R.
Uneven Parallel Bars – 1st place, Haylie R.
Vaulting – 1st place, Haylie R.
Balance Beam – 2nd place, Haylie R.
Flour Exercise – 1st place, Haylie R.
Copper II, Ages 10+
All Around Champion – Destiny E.
Uneven Parallel Bars – 1st place, Destiny E.; 2nd place – Daniella O.; 3rd place – Kaylee S.; 4th place – Breanna B.
Balance Beam – 1st place, Destiny E.; 2nd place, Daniella O.; 3rd place, Breanna B.; 4th place, Kaylee S.
Vaulting – 1st place, Daniella O.; 2nd place, Destiny E.; 3rd place, Kaylee S.; 4th place, Breanna B.
Floor Exercise – 1st place, Destiny E.; 2nd place, Kaylee S.; 3rd place, Breanna B.; 4th place, Daniella O.
Bronze, Ages 10+
All Around – 3rd place, Alyssa J.
Uneven Parallel Bars – 5th place, Alyssa J.
Balance Beam – 1st place, Alyssa J.

Floor Exercise – 2nd place (tie), Alyssa J.; 3rd place, Destiny E.
