Laura Goodavage of Cape May, N.J. is the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Volunteer of the Month for September, 2015. She has taken an active role helping MAC to connect more deeply with young families. MAC Director Michael Zuckerman nominated her for the honor. “As the mother of two school-age children, Laura has had a transformative effect in connecting MAC with the young family demographic — from conducting market research, to helping plan programs and events to closing the communications gap,” he said. Laura is also daughter of MAC Board President Mary McKenney and has shared her business experience with MAC.
The Volunteer of the Month award is given to a person who demonstrates a high degree of dedication, commitment and constancy to MAC’s volunteer program.
