COURT HOUSE — David and Maggie Robinson, owners of Holly Shores Campground in Lower Township, presented a check to Cape Regional Medical Center in the amount of $8,334. That represented the first installment of a three-year, $25,000 pledge, according to a release.
The Robinson’s donation will go toward the Intensive Care Unit Renovation Project, specifically for the renovation of a patient room in the unit.
The generous pledge is made possible by various fundraising initiatives that are held at Holly Shores Campground throughout the camping season.
“We are thrilled and proud to commit $25,000 to the renovation of the Intensive Care Unit at Cape Regional,” stated Maggie Robinson, co-owner of the campground.
“As a registered nurse, I worked on the Intensive Care Unit in the early 1980’s when the ICU was new – nearly 30 years ago. The need to update the unit has become a priority, and we are confident that the Cape May County community will respond to this important and exciting project at our community Medical Center.”
“Our friends at Holly Shore Campground never cease to amaze us with their commitment to Cape Regional Medical Center.” stated Joanne Carrocino, president and CEO. “On behalf of the entire Cape Regional family, I want to express our deep gratitude to Maggie and Dave Robinson and the Holly Shore team for their continued support and generosity.”
