Holly Shores Completes Gift to Cape Regional

By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE — David and Maggie Robinson, owners of Holly Shores Campground, in Lower Township, presented a check to Cape Regional Medical Center in the amount of $8,334.
According to a release, that donation represented the final installment of a three-year, $25,000 pledge.
The Robinsons’ donation will go toward the renovation of a patient room on the oncology floor, helping to provide patients with a comfortable and updated setting during their stay at the medical center.
The pledge was made possible by various fundraisers held at Holly Shores Campground throughout the camping season.
“Although we all face challenging economic times, our campers continued to support our fundraising efforts,” stated Maggie Robinson, co-owner of the campground. “A special ‘thank you’ goes to the many campers who helped make this gift a reality,”
she continued.
“We offer our most sincere thanks to the Robinson’s for sharing the Medical Center’s commitment to provide high-quality healthcare to our community,” stated Joanne Carrocino, president and CEO. “Dave and Maggie and the entire Holly Shores Campground organization have continuously supported our efforts throughout the years and their generosity is greatly appreciated.”
The Cape Regional Medical Center Foundation was established in 1999 and is dedicated to raising philanthropic support and community involvement in support of Cape Regional Medical Center.
