Head to Route 50 for Jersey Fresh Produce, Premium Coffee and More!

Angela Greto with her two children

By Sponsored

Recently opened in early summer, Route 50 Coffee & Produce is a new venture for Angela Greto and her family. The mother of two has created a warm, inviting coffee shop along with a fresh produce market, welcoming both locals and vacationers to shop top-of-the-line vendors year round.

The coffee shop features a bright, clean atmosphere as well as fresh brewed coffee and gifts from local vendors. After personally sampling their products, Angela chose only the highest quality coffee companies.

  • illy Coffee is known and admired on five continents for the high-quality and unmistakable velvety taste of its coffee, an outstanding blend made up of nine types of pure Arabica that every day delights millions of people at home, offices, hotels, restaurants and cafés.
  • Black Rifle Coffee Company is a premium small-batch, roast-to-order, veteran owned and operated coffee company. The company imports its coffee beans directly from Colombia and Brazil, then personally blends and roasts every one of its beans. Route 50 is the only dealer in the area for Black Rifle coffee and merchandise.
  • Chameleon Cold-Brew is the nation’s original purveyor of cold-brew coffee. Bold on buzz and easy on the stomach, Chameleon Cold-Brew coffee does right by you every time and every way — milky or straight, icy or hot.

Specialty items from local entrepreneurs include pillows, novelty mugs, essential oils and body scrubs, salsas and jams, clothing and more.

At the produce market, you’ll find fresh Jersey produce alongside specialty foods, including gourmet Di Bruno Brothers products. Route 50’s produce manager, Ed, brings 40 years of produce management experience to the market.

  • Di Bruno Brothers has offered nothing but premium products for 75 years, infused with the story of the people who made them. Fill up your pantry with culinary treats like antipasti, oils and vinegars, crackers, pastas and sauces, sweets and more.
  • Divina offers you the ingredients for a good life: olives, marinades, spreads and antipasti that are authentic and all-natural.
  • Tiberino’s catalog includes both classic Italian fine foods (such as pasta, tomato sauces, oil and more) and a wide range of Italian gourmet main courses easy to be cooked, 100% natural and as good as you can only taste in Italy.
  • Liscio’s Bakery has been family run since 1994, and today strives for the same quality, consistency and enthusiasm that was used to bake the very first loaf of bread.

Angela is excited to bring both the coffee shop and the produce market to Upper Township. She always wished to open her own coffee shop, and when she found the space it was just a matter of what to put on the other side. With Upper Township’s lack of a year-round produce shop and the recent cancellation of the local farmers market, Angela decided her own produce market would be a great fit.

Come visit Angela and her family at Route 50 Coffee & Produce, located at 67 Route 50, Ocean View. When you spend $10 on produce, you’ll get a free two-liter Coca Cola product! The shop often hosts paint & sip, knitting and crafting nights, as well as kids’ crafts on Friday nights. Follow Route 50 on Facebook and Instagram for details and upcoming events. Route 50 is open year round, Monday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and closed on Wednesdays. For more information, call (609) 600-7091.
