Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge Donates AED to North Wildwood Police Department

Elks

By Press Release

The North Wildwood Police Department recently received an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) that was donated by the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge #1896. The AED will be placed in the arrest processing area of the department. The American Red Cross supports the position that improved training and access to AEDs could save 50,000 lives each year. The Red Cross believes that all Americans should be within four minutes of an AED and someone trained to use it. All North Wildwood Police Officers are trained to use AEDs. Chief Gallagher would like to thank Exalted Ruler Joseph Magilton and the rest of the Elks organization for this valuable donation.
