Gentilini Named ’09 Business Partner

By Herald Staff

CREST HAVEN — Don Gentilini, owner of Gentilini Ford and Chevrolet in Woodbine, was chosen as Cape May County Technical School District’s Business Partner for 2009.
“Don has always been an active proponent of our school program,” said Robert Matthies, district superintendent. “He has served on our Automotive Technology advisory committee and for the past five years his dealership has provided a car for our behind the wheel driver education at no cost to the district.
“His daughter and stepson both graduated from Cape May Tech and are now serving in the military. Michela is in the Navy aboard the USS Nimitz and Anthony (Odoranto) is in the Marines,” Matthies added.
Gentilini Ford was started by Don’s parents more than 50 years ago. He is the second generation in the family business and his nephew is part of the third generation to work at the Woodbine-based business. Gentilini serves on the board of directors for Cape May County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Woodbine Chamber of Commerce.
The Business Partner program was started by the New Jersey Council of County Vocational Technical Schools in 2001 to recognize individuals who are supportive of technical schools in each of the state’s 21 counties.
