AVALON — Fusion Salon and Day Spa, 3007 Dune Drive, believes in giving back during the holidays.
Over the next several weeks, clients will have the opportunity to make someone else’s holiday season brighter, according to a release.
On Nov. 1, Jeanne Rogers, owner of Fusion, kicked off her Toys for Tots campaign.
That same weekend, Fusion was honored to have Chris Baran, International Hairdresser of the Year, at the salon teaching upcoming trends and styles for the runway while preparing models for a show he was doing in Atlantic City.
Rogers asks all those interested to drop off a toy at the shop before Dec. 16.
“With the economy the way that it is, I just feel that it’s beneficial for kids and kids don’t understand. So to have each one have something special, it comes from all our hearts,” she stated.
During the Thanksgiving weekend of Nov. 27, donate she asks those with long to donate hair for Locks of Love. These donations help breast cancer victims by giving them the opportunity to have a wig made of natural hair.
All participants will receive a complimentary haircut and style, plus a gift from Fusion Salon.
Until Dec. 2, they seek nominations for someone in need of a makeover.
Fusion Salon will select eight nominees for a complimentary haircut, make-up, and manicure.
Nominees will be chosen the week of Dec. 2 and will receive treatments the first week of December.
Stop in to nominate a friend or loved one.
If that person’s friend or loved one is chosen, they will receive a thank you gift from Fusion Salon and Day Spa.
