February is National Pet Dental Health Month

Abri Dental Month

By Sponsored Content

February is National Pet Dental Health Month! Here at Abri Animal Hospital, we strongly believe that a clean and healthy mouth goes a long way toward keeping your pet well. Treating dental problems early is the key. A dental exam will allow us to manage and recommend a therapy plan.
When a dental cleaning is necessary, a tailored treatment is designed for your pet using the safest form of twilight sleep anesthesia. Most treatments only require a few hours’ time in the hospital. During the twilight anesthesia, we do a detailed dental exam and x-rays, as well as clean, polish and ultrasonically clean the teeth.
Antibiotics, local antiseptics and home care are recommended according to your pet’s dental needs. This includes not only dogs and cats, but your exotic pets as well.
For questions on your pet’s dental health or to schedule an appointment, contact Abri Animal Hospital in Cape May Court House at (609) 465-1368 or visit abrivet.com.
