COURT HOUSE – Doug Klein, MPT, CSCS, Manager of Cape Regional Physical Therapy in Seaville, NJ has achieved certification in the Graston Technique.
“The Graston Technique treats soft tissue injuries by effectively breaking down scar tissue and reducing inflammation that causes pain, loss of motion and stiffness. The technique utilizes stainless steel instruments to locate and release soft tissue restrictions that are causing the dysfunction,” stated Doug Klein, MPT, CSCS, Manager of Cape Regional PT in Seaville. “Along with warming up, stretching, strengthening and ice, clinicians can rebuild the soft tissue injury into healthy functioning tissue again.”
“The addition of the Graston Technique will benefit our patients by speeding their rehabilitation and recovery. We congratulate Doug on his certification; this accomplishment is a tribute to Doug’s commitment to exceptional care,” stated Ginger Millar, DPT, Director of Outpatient Physical Therapy at Cape Regional PT.
Doug graduated from the University of Scranton with a Masters in Physical Therapy. He has worked almost exclusively in orthopedics throughout his career including outpatient centers that specialize in shoulder, neck, back, foot, and ankle injuries, while also treating other diagnoses.
