County Clerk Warns of Telephone Solicitation

By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE — Cape May County Clerk Rita Marie Fulginiti has learned that targeted phone calls are being made to Cape May County residents from a company stating that they are “working with the County Clerk’s Office” to help homeowners modify the terms of their mortgage, according to a release.
“While I have no problem with a company marketing its services I object to the reference to the Cape May County Clerk. We have not been working with any company in this regard and we do not endorse the services of a private enterprise.” stated Fulginiti.
“I will appreciate a phone call at 609-465-1018 at or email at coclerk@co.cape-may.nj.us from any member of the public who has received such a solicitation,” she concluded.
