NORTH CAPE MAY- Conifer Village, a 62-unit apartment complex on Bayshore Road for low-income senior citizens, is anticipated to open in September.
Construction fencing has been removed from the complex and while it appears nearly complete, there is interior work and landscaping to be accomplished.
“We have not started selecting tenants,” said Conifer Realty Vice President Charles Lewis. “We are putting names on an interest list.”
He said Conifer anticipates it will begin accepting applications for apartments in early August. Under state regulations, Conifer must keep a waiting list until it begins writing leases.
“It’s basically first come, first serve, in the order in which you submit a completed application,” said Lewis.
He said what is important is when a rental application is submitted, not what date when an applicant asked to be placed on a waiting list. Those interested in an apartment may call: 888-213-4958.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held in October. For more information, see: coniferliving.com
