Casual Fridays Raise Over $5,800 for Charities at Ocean City Home Bank

By Press Release

OCEAN CITY – From the March of Dimes to the Alzheimer’s Association, over 50 charities benefited from Ocean City Home Bank’s 2015 Dress Down Program. Each Friday, participating bank employees made charitable donations in exchange for the privilege of dressing casually. Over the course of the year, Ocean City Home Bank donated over $5,800 to worthy organizations through the Dress Down Program.
“Our Dress Down Program is a true grass roots effort in that the employees themselves decide which charities benefit from their donations. As a result, we see an amazing range of organizations and programs represented on the donation list,” said Steve Brady, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ocean City Home Bank. “A contribution to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children might be followed by weekly donations to Pinelands Preservation, the ASPCA and Stockton’s Wheelchair Rugby program. Some of the organizations that benefit are local and some are national, but they’re all doing important work and I’m proud of our employees for helping them make a difference.”
