WILDWOOD – For the 11th consecutive year, team members from across the Cape Regional Health System provided the first grade class at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School in Wildwood with gifts to help celebrate the holiday season. The team donated over 100 pairs of socks, hats, gloves and lots and lots of books. The hats and scarves were hand-knitted by members of the volunteer knitters at Cape Regional.
“Providing a child with a personal gift during the holidays is an annual tradition Cape Regional Health System’s team members really enjoy,” stated Tom Piratzky, Executive Director, Cape Regional Foundation. “The first graders at Glenwood Avenue Elementary are full of smiles and joy because of these gifts; this is what the holidays are all about!”
“Cape Regional Health System has supported the Glenwood Avenue Elementary School in numerous projects for the past eight years. We are grateful for the wonderful partnership between Cape Regional and Glenwood Avenue Elementary School,” stated Travis LaFerriere, Principal of the school. “Our students and faculty appreciate all the support Cape Regional provides to our school.”
