COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Park and Zoo has been named one of the best of four zoos in America for families by Travel Blue Book.
According to Travel Blue Book, the Cape May County Park and Zoo made the list because of its family friendly atmosphere and free admission.
“You’re welcome to give a donation, but otherwise, you’re free to enter and explore without spending a dime,” writes Travel Blue Book.
Travel Blue Book also cites the location of the zoo, which is situated on a county park, as a big draw for families.
“There are pavilions, picnic tables, restrooms, and an impressive playground for the little ones to enjoy,” writes Travel Blue Book. “You could easily spend the entire day here, enjoying a low-cost outing.”
Of course, you can’t forget about the animals. The zoo, home to more than 500 animals, houses them in beautifully kept exhibits, so there is a lot for families to explore.
The other zoos listed are Philadelphia Zoo, Saint Louis Zoo and San Diego Zoo.
