This year the operators of Beachcomber Camping Resort’s Snack Shack worked with a special purpose, raising funds for a great cause.
On Nov. 26, as a result of the generous support of Beachcomber’s campers and the Snack Shack staff Linda and Larry Kusko, Janet and Matt Kopf were pleased to enclose a check in the amount of $3,000 to help make a difference in the life of a wounded veteran.
A donation jar took the place of a tip jar at the Snack Shack window, letting campers know that Beachcomber was to give all tips to Semper K-9 organization. Beachcomber also sold pup bandanas and dog tags as another way to help reach their fundraising goal.
Beachcomber hosted a special Semper K-9 50/50 during their regular bingo night. Campers were enthusiastic and eager to participate to support the cause.
Lower Township – Who are these people that are obvious experts on trash cans and leaf pick-up? Maybe they don't have any trash to put out or leaves in their yard!!
