Marty Montgomery presented a donation in the amount of $1,650 to the Board Members of Cape Hope. Cape Hope is a local outreach group that provides common necessities to the less fortunate and marginalized, while bringing future hope and stability through training, support and care. Since its founding in 1962, A.M.I.A.has been a unique group whose main function is to unite property owners and give the community a voice in the township. Saturday Morning Pancakes is one of their main sources of income. Portions of their yearly proceeds go to local charities like the Zoo, H4H, Vets Memorial in Vineland, Christmas Angels, etc. This year’s “Breakfast for Hope” was a good fit for the “end of season” closeout of our overstocked goods. “And, we were able to do some good at the same time,” Montgomery said. “With Hope, we will plan a similar event next year.”
