AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center held a recent celebration to recognize and thank the more than 100 junior volunteers who spent six weeks of their summer helping patients, visitors and staff of the hospital. The celebration was held at ARMC’s Mainland Campus in Pomona.
Each volunteer received a certificate of appreciation and a gift recognizing his or her hours of service to the hospital. The 13 to 17-year-old volunteers assisted the ARMC team in a variety of roles, including as greeters, with clerical tasks and with patient activities.
AtlantiCare also recognized volunteer team leaders for their outstanding dedication and service to ARMC and mentoring of junior volunteers. Team leaders include Jed Baldomar, of Atlantic City; Karina Chavez, of Galloway; Nichelle Cherry, of Galloway; Alec Divenuto, of Absecon; Shreya Joshi, of Galloway; Zak Karaisz, of Galloway; Ashini Patel, of Galloway; Divya Patel, of Galloway; Heena Patel, of Atlantic City; Danielle Ricciardi, of Absecon; Nick Rombero, of Galloway; Naman Sachdeva, of Galloway; and Austin Samuel, of Egg Harbor Township.
