GALLOWAY, NJ Atlantic Medical Imaging (AMI), the region’s leader in high quality subspecialty imaging, has announced the acquisition of the Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), the owner of two imaging centers located in Vineland and Upper Deerfield, NJ.The two CDI centers are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and offer multimodality procedures such as MRI, CT, PET/CT, Ultrasound, DEXA and X-ray.
After completion of the acquisition, the combined practices will consist of 50 board-certified radiologists and 14 outpatient locations, and will be one of the largest and most comprehensive private radiology practices in New Jersey, serving patients in Cumberland, Cape May, Atlantic, Ocean and Monmouth counties.
“For more than 15 years, CDI has provided exceptional care and convenient access to patients in Cumberland County and the surrounding areas,” said Dr. David Levi, CEO of AMI. “We are very fortunate to be able to partner with CDI and expand upon their already outstanding practice, with new offerings in breast imaging, cardiac imaging, musculoskeletal imaging and outpatient vascular care. By pairing this with access to our team of subspecialized radiologists, we will create an option that is unparalleled in the marketplace for patients and referring providers.”
Dr. Satish Shah, Medical Director for CDI, noted, “CDI has long been the first choice in imaging here in Cumberland County. By joining AMI, we can utilize their scale and expertise to offer even more than we previously have to our patients. Our patients and referring providers can feel comfortable knowing that they are getting academic level care with the best service possible, right here at home.”
