Ahern Named Cape May County Realtor of the Year

By Herald Staff

CLERMONT — The Cape May County Association of Realtors has announced that Stephen Ahern, CRS, GRI, ePro of Ferguson-Dechert, Inc. in Avalon has been selected as the CMCAR 2008 Realtor of the Year. Ahern is being recognized with the award for the effort and good work he has expended in the real estate profession.
“The annual Realtor of the Year Award is CMCAR’s way of commending a Realtor whose good business conduct and service to clients is exemplary,” said Ann Marie Uhlman, executive officer of CMCAR. “We are honored to present this year’s award to Steve.”
The annual Realtor of the Year award recognizes one member of the CMCAR who demonstrates a commitment to the Realtor Code of Ethics, the furtherance of good real estate practices among real estate licensees and the general public, and dedication to the REALTOR® organization. Ahern’s commitment to CMCAR goes beyond serving on the association’s board of directors and assorted committees; he is an invaluable resource in planning CMCAR’s annual budget. Serving as a Director for the New Jersey Association of Realtors on five separate occasions, Ahern’s dedication to the real estate profession is complimented only by his determination to improve his skills as a REALTOR®. He is a proponent of continuing education in New Jersey and holds three Realtor designations.
Along with all the Realtors of the Year selected by New Jersey local boards/associations of Realtor, Ahern will be honored by NJAR® at the NJAR® Awards Session during the Triple Play Realtor Convention and Trade Expo in Atlantic City on December 9.
