It has been 28 years since the creation of The Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund A Pediatric Cancer Fund (aka: Brendan’s Fund) serving local children and their families. For 28 years, we have provided non-medical assistance for access to care and other necessities to families in Cape May County and more recently included families from Atlantic County. All net proceeds from our fundraising is added to our annual donation to the Brendan Borek Endowed Fund at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Your support has been crucial to our assistance of families suffering the effects of pediatric cancer. We thank you.
Kicking off our 2019 fundraising events is the 2nd Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration being held from 12 Noon to 3 PM at the Taco Shop of Cape May, located in the Cape May County Airport Complex at 1288 Hornet Rd., Rio Grande, NJ. Come and join in the fun for a delicious brunch, lunch or early dinner before heading back to Monday Morning!
The 14th Annual Golf Tournament Supporting Brendan’s Fund will be held at the Stone Harbor Golf Club on Friday May 10th. Registration begins at 10:30, Tee Time 12 Noon and the Awards Dinner at 5:00 PM. All levels of golfers are welcome. All those trying to hit that Hole-In-One here’s some incentive: Win a SPA donated by Klenswite Pools & Spas along with a $1000.00 American Express Gift Card. This year we have partnered with Dixon Golf. Their challenge will allow you to try their new environmentally friendly Earth Ball against your favorite. On the course challenges will allow you to test your skills.
We are looking forward to a day filled with “fun” raising for pediatric cancer. It’s not too late to register, play, sponsor or donate. For more information call Lisa Cincotta at 609.231.6488. visit our website; www.brendansfund.org or contact us at 609-967-0100 for information on all our events.
Thank you for your 28 years of support. Because of your generous giving children in Cape May and Atlantic County along with their families have the wind behind their back!
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
