UPPER TOWNSHIP – Beacon Animal Rescue, a no-kill Rescue located on Butter Road in Upper Township, is seeking additional volunteers. Please consider joining our volunteer team to help give our cats and dogs a pleasant time while at Beacon. Especially needed now are dog walkers during the hours of Tuesday – Friday 2 – 5 p.m., Wednesday 2 – 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 12 – 3 p.m. Also needed is a volunteer to clean the cat room on Sunday morning starting around 8 a.m. Please complete a Volunteer Application online at beaconanimalrescue.org or stop by the Rescue during the above hours and complete a paper application.
In 2016, Beacon placed 167 dogs and 124 cats into permanent homes.
