Avalon Lions Club Contributes to Cape Hope

AVALON – Winter is no time to be homeless, but thanks to organizations like Cape Hope, individuals and families in Cape May County are finding life-saving shelter during difficult times.
According to a release, recently, the Avalon Lions Club offered a helping hand by donating $2,000 to the volunteers at Cape Hope at a time when it is most needed.
Cape Hope is one of nearly 20 Cape May County-based charities supported by the Lions Club that raises and distributes more than $120,000 a year to help the blind, the hungry and the homeless.
