Avalon Historical Society Holds Annual Miniature Golf Competition

AVALON – The Avalon Historical Society held their fourth annual Miniature Golf Competition June 11 at Go Fish Golf Course.  The winner for “Best Score” Adult Category was Wayne Del Gado, Dan Matassino and Janine Fante tied for second place; Children’s Category (13 and under) “Best Score” Owen Pappas, Nicholas Fante placed second.  Winner of “Most Holes in One” Adult Category Don DelGado; Children’s Category (13 and under) “Most Holes in One” Owen Pappas and Nicholas Fante tied for first place with two holes in one and Marissa Del Gado placed second.  
Chair, Rose Marie Chew thanks the girls at Go Fish Miniature Golf for their support of this event and donating all the proceeds to the society, and the following sponsors who gave gift certificates:  Avalon Freeze, Brian’s Waffle House, Buccaneer Ice Cream, Hoy’s Five & Ten, Kudos American Grille, Pudgie Pelican, Sundae Best Ice Cream Parlor and Uncle Bill’s Pancake House.
