CAPE MAY – The Girls Friendly Society (GFS) will hold their annual book sale to benefit the Holiday House on two weekends: May 9 through 11 and May 16 through 18. The hours of the sale will be Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located at 644 Hughes Street, Cape May, the sale will feature hardcover books, paperback books and music CDs in good condition. As a new feature this year, “He Brews” Café will provide coffee, tea and baked goods available for a donation at the sale.
Materials can be donated to the sale by placing them in the bins on the front porch of the Holiday House, or by contacting your GFS Brach Advisor. No magazines, periodicals, encyclopedias, or risqué materials will be accepted.
The Girls’ Friendly Society is an international non-profit organization affiliated with the Episcopal Church. GFS is dedicated to supporting and nurturing young women and girls with positive guidance from adult leaders.
