Cape May Veterans Day Ceremony

Sunday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

All Wars Monument – Columbia Avenue & Gurney Street, Cape May

The City of Cape May, The American Legion, The Veterans of Foreign Wars and the U.S. Coast Guard TRACEN Cape May will join together to honor and remember the men and women who served our nation in the United States military. Taking place after the ceremony is a rededication of Cape May’s “Soldier and Sailors Monument” as part of the 100 Cities, 100 Memorials Program. Sea Isle City Veterans Day Ceremony

Veterans Park – JFK Boulevard & Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City

Cape May County Veterans Day Celebration

Sunday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.

Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum – 500 Forrestal Rd., Cape May Airport, Erma

Free and open to the public, the event will feature a ceremony and vendors providing information on veterans services. The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. with the doors opening at 1 p.m.  The event will end at 4 p.m.


Wildwood Crest Veterans Day Ceremony

Sunday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m.

Bayview Park, Preston Avenue & Bayview Drive, Wildwood Crest

Various community leaders and members of various veterans service organizations are expected to attend the event, which will honor all veterans of military service, with special recognition given to fallen military veterans from Wildwood Crest. Rain date will be Monday, Nov. 12 at 4 p.m. For more information, call (609) 522-5176.


Osprey Point Veterans Day Service

Monday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m.

Staff Sergeant William Godfrey Memorial Park at Osprey Point, 1731 Rt. 9, Seaville

Hosted by Osprey Point resident Aldo Palombo, the service will include the singing of the National Anthem and patriotic songs, an American flag dedication, the Pledge of Allegiance, a “Taps” presentation and more. All are welcome to attend this Veterans Day Service to honor those who have and continue to serve our country. Rain location is the Osprey Point Clubhouse.


Ocean City Veterans Day Program

Monday, Nov. 12 at 11 a.m.

Ocean City Tabernacle, 550 Wesley Ave., Ocean City

Sponsored by Ocean City’s Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and American Legion, the event will include music, remarks, prayer and the placing of a memorial wreath. This year’s keynote speaker is Thy Nguyen Cavagnaro. Thy came to the U.S. in 1975 after Saigon fell to the Communists. She has been inspired to do more for the Vietnam veterans who helped her.
