Please help us spread the word to our neighbors in need!

Uninsured adults are four times as likely as those with coverage to delay or forgo care, often waiting to seek treatment until an illness is advanced or pain is unbearable. Because half of all uninsured people have no usual source of care, many go to the emergency room for help because they have no other affordable, accessible options.

For more than 20 years, Volunteers in Medicine (VIM), a 501 (c)3 non-profit, has provided free care to our neighbors in need at our Cape May Court House clinic.

Most new patients seek us out AFTER a significant health event. VIM currently has excess capacity thanks to several new doctors joining our volunteer team. We want to reach patients before their need for us is so acute.

We are planning a “Free Day of Care” at the Wildwoods Convention Center on February 9. For one day, we will offer a wide variety of services in a convention center setting to anyone needing care who does not have insurance.

We hope to inspire people to come for immediate gratification and encourage them to register for continuity of care a VIM.

If you would like to know more about VIM or this event, please do not hesitate to reach out by calling 609-463-2846 and by email at info@vimsj.org
