The Cape May Point Arts & Science Center will host its first-ever Climate Summit from June 20–22, bringing together scientists, policymakers, innovators, and residents for a three-day event focused on the theme “Local Action, Global Impact.” Free and open to the public, the Summit aims to spark action through dialogue, education, and community collaboration.
The event will also mark the official launch of the CMPASC Climate Institute, a new initiative committed to climate education, scientific research, and the development of solutions for the Cape Island area, which may be applicable to regions around the world.
The Summit begins on Friday, June 20, with a welcome reception at CMPASC. A full day of programming follows on Saturday, June 21, featuring expert panels, a Climate Solutions Showcase, and presentations from over 20 distinguished speakers, including:

On Sunday, June 22, attendees can join us for two nature-focused guided experiences:
- Dolphin & Bird Watch (10am-12pm): Cruise with Cape May Whale Watch & Research Center to spot dolphins and local seabirds.
- South Cape May Meadows Preserve Tour (10-11:30am / 1-2:30pm): Enjoy a guided walk with The Nature Conservancy through one of Cape May’s most important coastal habitats.
