BALDINO, JOHN It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Baldino of Philadelphia and Rio Grande, NJ who departed this life at the age of 73. Johnny passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, with his hands held by his devoted wife of 54 years, Elizabeth (Massari). Johnny is also survived by his son John (wife Kathryn) and daughter Gina. He was the very proud grandfather of Chasie Kearney, Frank Baldino, Jacob Merryfield, Olivia Baldino, Cassandra Baldino, and Joshua Merryfield. In addition, John is survived by his sisters Carol Shirley, Diane Toto (Don), and Mary Sliwinski (Fran). John was a retired director of security as well as a founding member of the successful Wildwood Doo Wop group, the Aquanets. The family invites family, friends and well-wishers to join in a celebration of Johnny's life on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 11 am to 12 pm at Our Lady of the Angels Church 35 E. Mechanic Street Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Funeral Mass 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, Attn: Develope- ment, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140 in John's honor.
