When the Avalon Lions Club learned students at Middle Township High School were working hard to help their classmates afford everyday necessities, board members voted unanimously to join in.
The Lions recently donated $1,500 to the Interact Club, which purchases and stores toiletries, weekend meals, and snacks for students who can’t afford them at home.
When it comes to sharing and caring, the Lions have always believed you can’t start too early in life to serve others. They give the Interact Club and its members an A+.
