We’re excited to share wonderful news from the Cape May Point Arts & Science Center—our very first juried art show was a complete sell-out!

The response from the community has been nothing short of incredible. Guests from Cape May Point and beyond came together to celebrate the opening of our inaugural art exhibition, and your enthusiasm helped bring our mission to life. This event marks a major milestone in our journey to create a space where the arts and sciences coexist and inspire.

The evening was filled with conversation, creativity, and connection as attendees explored the carefully curated selection of work submitted by artists near and far. The energy in the room reflected not only the talent of the artists, but also the passion of our supporters and volunteers who helped make this evening possible.

A special thank you goes to the Seagrove Art Cooperative Committee, chaired by Laurel Nuschke, and to our Director of Art, Daniel Magariel. Their dedication and vision were instrumental in shaping this show and setting the bar high for future exhibitions.

As we reflect on this unforgettable evening, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all who attended, participated, or contributed in any way. This is just the beginning. The success of this first show has energized us and confirmed our belief that Cape May Point is ready for—and deserves—a thriving center for creativity, discovery, and dialogue.

We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for more. Mark your calendars for our next big celebration: The da Vinci Gala, coming up on Saturday, September 13th. Expect an evening of art, science, community, and inspiration—all in support of the CMP Arts & Science Center.

Stay tuned for more details, and thank you again for being part of this exciting journey.
