As organizations grow and evolve, the role of leadership becomes increasingly intricate, especially when it involves guiding other leaders. To address this need, the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce partnered with Dale Carnegie to present the Leading Leaders Seminar, designed to equip seasoned leaders with the skills and strategies necessary to inspire and empower their leadership teams. The seminar will take place on Jan. 22 at United Methodist Communities – The Shores in Ocean City, New Jersey.

Dale Carnegie has been transforming individual and business performance worldwide. While its training techniques continue to evolve with the times, its core principles remain steadfast: real transformation begins from within. Dale Carnegie’s multistep process delves into the unique needs of each organization, offering workforce training that delivers measurable results.

This workshop explores the unique dynamics of leading leaders, offering participants critical strategies to create a sustainable organizational vision, foster accountability and collaboration, and address the challenges inherent in advanced leadership roles. The program provides an in-depth exploration of leadership at the highest levels, equipping participants with the skills to lead effectively.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Recognizing the distinct competencies required to lead other leaders.
  • Creating and communicating a vision that aligns leadership teams with organizational goals.
  • Enhancing growth and autonomy through coaching and mentoring.
  • Identifying and addressing challenges and conflicts within leadership teams.

“Our goal with this workshop is to empower leaders to elevate their impact by equipping them with the tools and strategies necessary to guide and inspire other leaders,” said Barbara Stafford Jones, Cape May County Chamber president. “Leadership at this level is about more than management; it’s about advancing collaboration, accountability, and growth within leadership teams to drive organizational success.”

Tickets are $25 per person and include light refreshments. Prepaid registration is required. United Methodist Communities – The Shores is located at 2201 Bay Ave., Ocean City, NJ 08226. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., with the presentation starting at 9 a.m.
