I’m glad that the city council is fighting the Hotel to be developed on the boardwalk. I’m sure they’ll vote against it once again. Why let a developer call the shots in a family oriented town. They’ll want alcohol and gambling next. Cape May stood strong and opposed the hotel plan. I hope they just build townhouses instead. The boardwalk is dying as it is when no repairs are made to the shops or multiple store fronts are closed season after season. Do we really think a hotel resort will draw more traffic? The problem with the OC boardwalk is that it looks like a demilitarized zone.
