SMITH, BRIAN PATRICK, Jr.

SMITH,
BRIAN PATRICK, Jr.
Brian Patrick Smith, Jr., a vibrant soul known for his kindness and adventurous spirit, passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 22, in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. Born on September 1, 2003, in Somers Point, NJ, to Beatrice Goldstein and Brian Smith, he brought immense joy and laughter into the lives of everyone he touched.
Brian flourished into a young man of immeasurable character. He leaves behind a family who adored him deeply: his mother Beatrice Goldstein and her husband Sodi, his father Brian Smith, and stepbrothers Zachary and Joshua Goldstein. Aunt Lisa Salvato, cousin Christina Salvato, and his uncles will remember Brian for the light he brought into the family, a light that will continue to shine in their hearts forever.
A proud graduate of St. Augustine Preparatory School, Brian was in the midst of his senior year at the University of Delaware, pursuing his passions with the same fervor he applied to every facet of his life. His academic journey was a testament to his dedication and drive, as he balanced studies with the activities he loved.
Brian's interests were as broad as they were intense-bowling evenings were filled with strikes and cheers, while dirt bike trails witnessed his skilled maneuvers. His love for trucks was not just in the driving but also in the meticulous care he took while working on them, a reflection of his detailed nature. Mudding adventures allowed him to experience the thrill of the outdoors, narrating stories of conquests over rugged terrains. His beloved dogs were constant companions, sharing in his adventures and the quieter moments at home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, NJ. Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clermont, NJ.
