As a Christian the Bible is my guide. It doesn't change like the opinions of politicians. That said, Socialism is not supported in the Bible. In fact, it goes against every principle in the Bible, which encourages Hard Work, Land Ownership, Savings & Investing. It condemns Stealing (Yes, taking money from the rich to give to the poor is stealing). Socialism is simply the government replacing God. As Christians we have a responsibility to help those less fortunate through our tithes and offerings which in turn churches or reputable organizations like "Samaritans Purse" then distribute.
