Democrats gained nothing from the shutdown they caused but lost a lot. They showed America they are willing to hurt people for political purposes, and worse they impacted their own voters. That’s a powerful slap in the face that intelligent people will remember for a long time but their shrinking leftist base doesn’t care and shows reasonable people that their policy of by any means necessary is dangerous and reckless. We have enough external threats and don’t need internal threats but that’s exactly what the left has shown themselves to be. Damage for nothing cost us billions. Why?
