Surprise! Councilwoman Gensemer will defend the Paid Fire Department, which is clearly the reason for the struggling budget, even more so as reported by Josh Otton, with exuberant overtime now being paid all due to the ignorance of the structure of the dept which was approved by COUNCIL! Council member Gensemer has "family ties" to this department and should absolutely abstain from any comments/reasoning associated with the fire dept and council should be ashamed of their ignorance-the details of what was to come was in black and white back when the paid dept was established.
